ReplyDeleteTwo of the best books for aspiring copywriters are:
1. Ogilvy on Advertising- this will give you an insight into the industry.
2.The Craft of Copywriting- Alastair Crompton- this one is like an exercise book for the budding copywriters.
Will try the books that you've named.
Have read- Anything for you ma'am.
din't like it much tho... found it very frivolous. the TA of it is basically college+ types.
You must read the autobiography of Obama- Dreams From My Father. Not coz it is the account of the strongest political entity on Earth but because of the brilliant and beautiful usage of the words. I found it to be a copywriters' delight. In fact read it with a pencil/pen in hand. underline every sentence/word combo that u like. u can use them later. u'll learn a lot from this book, if you wish to be a great copywriter someday.
Thanks for the Diwali message. Replied to it but it got failed.
anyway, Happy Diwali :)
